It is with much sorrow that I inform everyone that Etta James AKA Ms. Peaches, has died. James was a blues/soul singer whose hit song "At Last" has been used in movies, weddings, commercials, Etc. James lost the battle with Leukemia today. For me, I've lost a musical rome model. She will be missed by many.

Oh I know that. AND DID YOU HEAR CHRISTENA AGULARA'S HORRIBLE VERSION OF HER SONG "AT LAST"? THAT IS THE MOST GODAWEFUL TRIBUTE TO AN ARTEST I'VE EVER HEARD! Plus that sleezeball skankbag had her tits hangin' out! Plus, she was singing at her funeral! Her funeral for God's sake!

I never was a fan of Etta's, but, regarding Christina Aguilera's performance of "at last", she was very emotional. *shrugs* some people seem to forget celebreties are human, too.

I have heard the song called At Last but have never heard anything else by her. SO I was surprised to learn in the newspaper obit that she has won several grammy awards in the past. SHE did have a powerful voice. RIP
